Commission a One-of-a-Kind StoneScape Artwork
With each commission, I create a 16 x 16” StoneScape artwork blending the raw texture of local stone with the atmosphere, light and memory of landscapes chosen by you.
Each piece is a collaboration - rooted in your story, your connection, and your sense of place.

A personal journey from memory to artwork…
1. Consultation & Conversation
Commissions begin with completing a contract of agreement and a gentle inquiry form where you’re invited to consider and confidentially share your memories, your emotional connections, and what you hope the artwork will hold - whether its a childhood coastline, a proposal spot, a place of healing, or a landscape woven into family history. We then arrange a private consultation to align our expectations, either at one of your chosen locations or via email for those based outwith Caithness.
Your completed form, alongside our conversations, shape everything that follows.
2. Immersion in Your Chosen Location
I return to the location independently to experience it fully.
I photograph stone surfaces, studying their natural textures, fractures and patterns.
I observe the landscape in different weather conditions.
I pay close attention to shifts in colour, light and atmosphere.
These elements become the visual language of your piece.

3. Studio
Back in my studio, I begin the digital composition process.
Textures of stone are carefully selected and integrated with the landscape’s light, tone and structure to create an emotive, layered artwork that captures not just how the place looks, but how it feels.
The final piece often contains up to 50 digital layers and is professionally printed as a 16 x 16” artwork, ready to frame and become part of your home.
4. The Reveal
You are invited to meet the finished artwork in a private reveal.
Alongside your mounted piece you will receive:
A Certificate of Authenticity - proving the originality of your One-of-a-Kind artwork
A Bespoke Coffee Table Book - documenting the story of your commission, from consultation and location studies to the final creation
This book becomes a lasting record of your connection to the landscape and the journey we have shared in creating your artwork.

No two artworks are ever the same.
Every commission is entirely unique and includes:
Personal consultation (or via email with clients based outwith Caithness)
Location visits and photography within Caithness (locations outwith Caithness considered)
Studio creation
Professionally printed unframed 16 x 16” artwork, mounted in bright white mount board with an overall size of 24 x 24”
Certificate of Authenticity
Bespoke coffee table book
Group Commissions
Multiple editions of one commissioned artwork can be printed meaning family members and friends can experience and take home a shared artwork each. Group commissions follow the same process as described above but expectations, requirements and costs are shared with any additional prints charged at the standard limited edition print price and numbered accordingly, ie. a group of three clients would receive one print each (numbered 1 of 3, 2 of 3 and 3 of 3), as well as a coffee table book each.
